Does Deodorant Help With Chafing? Read to Know More…

Chafing or chub-rub is quite common in summers. Many of my friends suffer from this problem if they walk or workout more in sweaty days. It is caused due to the friction caused when thighs rub together or with clothes.

I was quite surprised when I saw the red patches on one of my friends, which occurred due to chafing. It was painful. Since she never had a problem with chafing before, she got confused and stressed as to what to do for chafing. I searched for some anti-chafing products over the internet and I was with a huge list of products.

Some of the products were costly that need to be bought from the market while some were cheap and easy available like deodorant.
Yes! It's deodorant… You might be wondering how does deodorant help with chafing. Well, that’s a super easy and effective way to reduce chafing.

Honestly, she never thought about using deodorant as a way to prevent chafing. It felt so weird to rub it on inner thighs instead of under the arms. Just think, why we use deodorant?
To stop sweating!

So, if this anti-sweat product can be used in the areas where chafing occurs, it can also keep other affected areas dry by reducing the sweat and thereby, reduce chafing. Don’t you think it is a good way to keep thighs or other body parts dry!
She wanted to try this with the same style of shorts with which she experienced chafing for the first time, to see the difference between then and now.

The deodorant can be said as the best chub rub product that is available at everybody’s house. It helps to ease friction while walking or running. The antiperspirant in the deodorant keeps the sweat to a minimum. She made the habit of applying it every day in the same manner as she does on her underarms.

Now, she walks freely and takes an extra-long walk during the hottest part of the day without worrying about sweating and chafing. However, there is one thing to keep in notice that if you walk a lot, then it would be good to re-apply the deodorant every few hours for better results.
